Continuation of the panoramic tour through the government buildings and across the street
main road of Rajpath (formerly known as the King's Way). This area was
designed and built in colonial style by British architect Edwin Lutyens and his friend
Sir Herbert Baker to house government buildings from the year 1931.

divided into four main sections, each with its own entrance door and courtyard.
It can be reached via a narrow road, crossed by elephants carrying visitors
up to its main gate, known as Suraj Pol (sun gate).

also the circulation of a flow of fresh air throughout the building, to mitigate high temperatures
summer temperatures and thus give rise to a sort of natural air conditioning.
