Denise was born in a small village on Lake Maggiore, to a family at once humble and conservative. As a child, she was both ambitious and a dreamer, despite the difficulties, and she studied and worked at the same time from the early age of 13. She started working initially in fashion and luxury events, and was always surrounded by people due to her natural charisma and empathy, until, about 10 years ago, she approached Ayurveda in order to care for herself and find herself. She fell in love with this science and began to study it in depth until it became her principal work activity, bringing this world clad in mystery to serve luxury properties and their clients in important hotels and resorts, training other people and consulting to other important centres and organising events in the wellness sector. She travelled across India so as to know Ayurveda, studying the various techniques of wellness, specialising in flower therapy and natural perfumes. She studies people as if they were a great gift and for this reason has decided to create this project. It is thanks to Ayurveda that she met Kandeepan, her husband, an expert in Ayurveda and nutrition.
As a little boy, he escaped from the civil war in Sri Lanka where his father already owned a yoga and Ayurveda centre in the 1970’s and taught these disciplines, still little known in the western world, in his own natural paradise. His childhood had quickly become one of hardship and then suddenly he arrived in Italy and, although very young, he started to learn from his father the techniques and how to read people through contact. But this was not enough, in order to enhance his abilities, for many years he studied in India with experts who had decades of experience of these techniques. His pupils and patients say he has a strong personality, a kind soul and great knowledge of the human body, gifts which have led him to treat numerous important people in the world of sport.
“I have chosen the finest wellbeing professionals so as to create the best experience for the client. The sensitivity necessary to be deeply receptive to each and every requirement, because the desire for wellbeing is a choice that has to be taken up immediately, there is just never time enough time to be happy and healthy.”
Having travelled and worked in many places where luxury is the norm, I have nevertheless always found little omissions and being a demanding person, I have always asked myself: “Does perfection exist?”
